I like companies that give good service.

These days they are hard to find. Technology has made it too easy for companies to give bad service instead of great service….and that is a disaster; both for companies and consumers.

How important is service? Ask yourself this: what is the difference between a Dell and HP laptop? Nothing except the promise of the brand. And that promise is put under a microscope when things go wrong.

A service organization is the first part of the company that the consumer interacts with so it better be good or the customer will be lost forever.

My blog explores why some companies give great service and why some don’t bother. I also explore how net-based community, trust and customer service can make a good company great.

Drop me a line if you’d like to share any good or bad customer service stories at greg at v2inc dot com  ….or just post them here……
